- No External Server Transfers: All color space transformations, camera frame analysis, and image sample extractions occur locally on your device. No images or color data are uploaded to cloud servers.
- No Third-Party Analytics / Tracking: We do not embed ad trackers, user tracking SDKs, or data broker analytics.
2. App Permissions & How They Are Used
To deliver advanced color extraction tools, CMYK Converter requests the following Android runtime permissions:
A. Camera Permission (android.permission.CAMERA)
- Purpose: Used exclusively for the Live Camera Color Picker feature to analyze real-time video frames under your screen target crosshair.
- Data Protection: Camera preview frames are processed in temporary device RAM memory only and discarded instantly. Video streams are never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
B. Photo Library / Storage Access
- Purpose: Allows you to pick photos from your local device gallery for color extraction using the Image Color Sampler tool.
- Data Protection: Read access is restricted solely to the specific image file you explicitly choose.
3. Offline Storage & Data Security
Custom colors and swatches you explicitly save are stored locally on your device in an encrypted Room SQLite database. You retain full control over your saved colors and can clear or delete saved swatches at any time directly within the app.
4. Children's Privacy Compliance (COPPA)
CMYK Converter does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Our application is a general utility tool intended for designers, print engineers, digital artists, and developers.
