Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect (Zero Data Collection)
Gyroscope Tester does NOT collect, transmit, or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We do not record or request:
- Your name, address, or phone number
- Your email address or contact list
- Your physical GPS location or IP address
- Unique device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID)
2. Sensor & Hardware Data Processing
The application accesses your device's built-in Hardware Gyroscope sensor (android.hardware.Sensor.TYPE_GYROSCOPE) exclusively to:
- Calculate real-time 3-axis rotational velocity (Pitch, Roll, Yaw) in degrees per second (°/s) or radians per second (rad/s).
- Render real-time motion graphs and the interactive 3D phone model.
- Calculate live session statistics (minimum, maximum, and average values).
All sensor readings are processed entirely on-device in temporary memory (RAM). No sensor logs are transmitted over the internet or permanently stored unless you voluntarily initiate an export.
3. Internet & Network Permissions
Gyroscope Tester does not request or use Android network permissions (android.permission.INTERNET). The application works 100% offline. There are no embedded advertising networks, analytics frameworks (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics), or tracking SDKs.
4. Data Sharing & Telemetry Export
The app contains a feature allowing you to share or export your recorded sensor readings. This action is 100% user-directed via the standard Android System Share Sheet. The exported CSV/text format is transmitted solely to the external app or destination you choose (such as email, notes, or cloud storage). We have no access to your shared data.
5. Device Permissions Used
- Vibrate (
android.permission.VIBRATE): Used solely to provide tactile haptic feedback when tapping control buttons (start, stop, calibrate, reset). This can be disabled at any time in the app's settings.
6. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
Gyroscope Tester does not target, collect, or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, the application is safe for all age groups.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may periodically update our Privacy Policy. Any modifications will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
