Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Screen Ruler: Measure It stores the following data locally on your device only using Android's DataStore. This data never leaves your device:
- Calibration settings (screen DPI scale factors you have set)
- Measurement history records you choose to save
- App preferences (theme, units, haptics, etc.)
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's data in your Android device settings, or by using the "Clear All History" option within the app.
Permissions Used
Screen Ruler: Measure It requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:
- VIBRATE — Used for optional haptic feedback when dragging handles. No data is accessed.
The app does not request internet access, camera, location, contacts, storage read/write, or any other sensitive permissions.
Internet Access
Screen Ruler: Measure It does not require or use an internet connection at any time. The app works fully offline. No data is sent to any server, third party, or external service.
Third-Party Services
Screen Ruler: Measure It does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. There are no ads in the app.
Children's Privacy
